Job summary

Bethesda Health seeks an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our care team. You will deliver essential nursing care, complete assessments, document meticulously, and participate in care planning for residents.

You must hold an LPN license in the state, CPR/AED and IV certification (or obtain within six months), with preferred LTC experience, strong communication, and the ability to manage time and resources effectively.

Qualifications

• Education from an accredited school of nursing resulting in an LPN license.
• Current LPN license in the state of employment.
• CPR and AED certification required or obtained within six months.
• IV certification required or obtained within six months.
• Long-term care experience preferred.
• Able to assess basic nursing needs of geriatric residents.
• Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care and ongoing resident assessment.
• Communicate significant changes to the IDT and family.
• Document assessments accurately and timely.
• Participate in care planning and update plans as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and timely.
• Perform required documentation electronically and on paper.
• Assist with ADLs and respond to call lights.
