Job summary

Unify Health Services is seeking an Occupational Health professional to join our industrial medical team in a manufacturing setting. The role involves hands-on care, responding to workplace health needs, and promoting employee wellness within safety guidelines.

This PRN position requires adaptability, critical thinking, and a proactive mindset. You will perform physicals for new hires, conduct return-to-work visits, and utilize onsite resources such as vaccines, tests, and emergency kits.

Qualifications

• Active license or certification in the applicable state required.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• 6 months to 1 year of professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct return to work visits including breath alcohol tests and urine drug screens
• Perform physicals for new hires including audiograms vision screenings urine drug screens and medical questionnaires
• Respond to illnesses or injuries on the plant floor or in the onsite center
• Utilize available resources such as vaccines COVID-19/flu tests and AEDs
• Provide care within OSHA first aid guidelines not full scope of licensure

Qualifications Required

Physical Demands

• Frequent standing walking and sitting
• Tasks involving pinching grasping and gripping
• Reaching from floor level to overhead
• Occasional stooping and bending
• Periodic computer work
• Lifting 3050 lbs as needed
