Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse for our 01220 GCMG South Charlotte Internal Medicine team. You will provide patient care, document in the EMR, and assist with triage, medications, and care coordination.

The role involves pre-visit planning, vaccine orders, specimen collection, and adhering to CLIA/TJC standards while delivering high-quality patient care in a busy office setting.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse with current license to practice in applicable state.
• Graduate of an Accredited School of practical nursing.
• Previous medical office experience preferred. BLS required per policy guidelines.

Responsabilités

• Provide care or arrange care for patients within scope of nursing practice.
• Document all patient care/interactions in the EMR.
• Perform telephone triage and provide guidance per protocol.
• Track and log lab/diagnostic test results for provider review.
• Pre-visit planning with provider and care team.
• Administer medications and injections.
• Check vital signs, height, weight.
• Assist with reviewing medications and updating lists.
• Support vaccine and pharmaceutical orders under regulations.
• Enter orders in EMR (CPOE) per provider orders.
