Job summary

A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a Primary Care Clinic in Watertown, MA. The position offers 30-40 hours per week across 3 or 4 days, with every-other-weekend coverage during business hours.

Responsibilities include administering vaccinations, obtaining vital signs, performing patient assessments, and documenting in the EHR. You will educate patients, coordinate care, and assist with patient flow and privacy during exams.

Qualifications

• Licensed LPN with experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room.
• Willing to work 30-40 hours per week and cover every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Administer vaccinations, injections, and medications.
• Obtain, monitor, and document vital signs in EHR.
• Perform routine and complex patient assessments and monitor pain levels.
• Provide emergency care in collaboration with on-site provider.
• Conduct medication reviews and identify potential interactions.
• Provide patient education on medications, treatments, and disease management.
• Coordinate patient access to healthcare services and community resources.
• Communicate with patients, families, providers, and the care team.
• Assist with patient registration, scheduling, reminders, and checkout.
• Chaperone during sensitive examinations while maintaining privacy.
• Maintain clean, organized examination rooms and waiting areas.
