Job summary

Octapharma Plasma, Inc. is seeking an experienced LPN for our Knoxville donor center. You will evaluate potential donors for plasmapheresis, determine suitability with a physician, and provide limited emergency care while maintaining donor safety and compliance.

The role requires CPR certification, current LPN licensure, and strong customer service skills, with weekend availability and willingness to work in a fast-paced plasma center environment.

Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited healthcare program
Current LPN licensure in the employment state
Current CPR certification
Ability to educate donors and staff about our plasma donation program
Hospital or plasma center experience preferred

Responsibilities

Perform medical evaluation of potential donors for plasmapheresis procedures
Determine donor suitability of new applicants with the center physician
Provide limited emergency care and administer medications or treatments
Review donor test results to determine continued suitability
Counsel donors with abnormal test results and defer them as needed
Complete cross-training as required
