Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Cleveland is hiring for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or a Registered Nurse (RN) to work with pediatric and/or adult medically fragile patients in their own homes.

Responsibilities include using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, and to provide skilled nursing services in accordance with prescribed orders. Qualifications include current LPN/LVN or RN license, TB/Chest X-ray, BLS, and about one year of nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
