Job summary

Whitney Rehabilitation Care Center is seeking compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our team. We offer full-time and part-time shifts (3-11pm and 11-7am) and provide opportunities for growth, paid training, and benefits. You will provide nursing care to residents under physician orders and Director of Nursing supervision.

Responsibilities include bedside care, medication administration, documentation, history review, and care coordination to promote residents' wellbeing.

Qualifications

• First aid and CPR certification required.
• Current LPN license in CT.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Compassionate, friendly demeanor with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care and administer medications with documentation.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow policies, regulations and nursing standards.
• Collect, review, and monitor patient history, vitals and status.
• Assist with resident comfort and comfort measures.
• Prepare and administer injections and/or enemas as prescribed.
• Collect samples and monitor catheters; provide wound care.
• Support and coach staff as needed.
