Job summary

Villa Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join Ambassador, A Villa Center. The LPN assumes responsibility for a group of residents during a shift, providing licensed care and direct nursing support as ordered by physicians.

The role involves medication administration, charting, and collaboration with the IDT for care plan adjustments. A clean safety record and strong communication are essential for success in this setting.

Qualifications

• Current CPR Certification required.
• Possess a current license to practice in the State as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Long-Term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides licensed care to residents as ordered by physician and in accordance with standards.
• Provides and receives nursing reports upon reporting in and ending shift duty hours.
• Prepares and administers medications and performs treatments as ordered by the physician.
• Charts nurse’s notes reflecting care provided and resident response.
• Maintains a clean and safe environment and addresses safety hazards.
• Completes forms on admission, transfer, and discharge.
