Job summary

Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for night shift coverage in a continuing care retirement community in Bucks County, PA. The LPN will provide skilled nursing care, administer medications, and support residents and families with a compassionate, resident-first approach.

The role requires CPR certification and state licensure as an LPN/LVN, with at least 1 year of relevant experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed by state as LPN required.
• CPR certification required.
• Experience in assisted living, home health, or long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with residents and families focusing on holistic care.
• Assess and document residents' clinical conditions in the EMR and notify RN/provider when needed.
• Update care plans as resident needs change.
• Supervise and support care associates.
• Administer medications timely and accurately.
• Participate in resident care meetings and respond promptly to concerns.

Location:

Join our team as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN). The LPN/LVN is responsible for providing clinical care to residents in the neighborhood according to the nursing standards of practice, board of nursing, and Erickson Senior Living standards.

Schedule: 11p-7am, 1 weekday and every other weekend in Skilled.

Compensation: up to $37/hr for LPN, and $49/hr for RN--- plus differential.

How you will make an impact

• Developing relationships with the residents and their families using a consistent caregiver approach supporting the resident’s physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs and focusing on placing the resident first.
• Assessing, observing, and evaluating resident’s clinical condition, document findings in the resident electronic medical record, and notify the provider and/or RN when necessary.
• Updating or modifying care plans as needed to reflect any changes to a resident’s care and service needs.
• Supervising and leading care associates
• Administering medications timely, accurately, and according to orders.
• Participating in meetings related to resident outcomes and care
• Responding to residents, family, or responsible parties in a timely and professional manner
• Participating in the review of clinical indicator reviews – falls, wounds, nutrition, antipsychotic use, etc.
• Other duties as assigned by RN clinical leader

What you will need

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in assisted living, home health, or long-term care is preferred.
• Licensed by State as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• CPR certification required.
• A passion to care for seniors and be a strong resident advocate.
• Experience with electronic medical records is preferred.
