Job description

Mercy Primary Care Clinic is seeking a full-time (40 hours a week) LPN or Medical Assistant (MA) to join our team.

OVERVIEW:

Assists the physician and office staff with selected duties including clerical processing, patient preparation, scheduling, lab work, x-ray, and medical records.

• Clinic Schedule: Monday - Friday, availability between 8:00am to 5:00pm
• Tuition Reimbursement up to $2,000 for continuing education
• Health/Dental/Vision insurance available after day one

Qualifications:

Primary Care Assistant - Medical Assistant:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED
• Certification: Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire
• Preferred Experience: 6 months of clinical healthcare experience, preferably in a primary care office

Primary Care Assistant - Certified Medical Assistant:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED
• Certification: Must have active Medical Assistant certification/registration (RMA, CCMA, CMA). Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire

LPN Qualifications:

• Education: Diploma in Practical Nursing
• Licensure: Active LPN licensure
• Preferred Experience: 6 months clinical healthcare experience, preferably in a primary care office
