Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold an active RN or LPN license in New Jersey.
• Must read, write, speak and understand English proficiently.
• Must demonstrate leadership and supervisory abilities for nursing staff.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of CNAs/GNAs and other nursing personnel in accordance with rules and guidelines.
• Provide discipline and evaluations of staff per center policies and regulatory requirements.
• Plan shifts, services, programs, and activities with assigned nursing personnel.
• Ensure Nursing Service Procedures Manual is current and followed by all staff.
• Prepare written and oral reports and recommendations on shift activities.
• Coordinate with resident services and participate in QA and surveys as required.
• Assist in updating discharge plans and contributing to the resident’s overall plan of care.
