Job summary

LAURELS OF ATHENS, THE seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to supervise and coordinate resident care in a skilled nursing setting under the direction of the Director of Nursing. The role provides clinical oversight to CNAs and ensures continuity of care for residents and families.

Ohio-licensed LPN with CPR certification and 1–2 years in long‑term or sub‑acute care is preferred. Join a national organization dedicated to high standards of care and compassionate service.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license to practice in Ohio.
• CPR certification or CPR within 90 days of employment.
• 1–2 years of nursing experience in long-term or sub-acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises CNAs/STNAs and other staff providing direct care.
• Plans, assigns, and directs work based on resident needs and staff capabilities.
• Receives staffing-related calls and arranges replacements as needed.
• Completes performance evaluations for CNAs/STNAs.
• Adjusts break schedules and resolves staff concerns.
• Use independent judgment in accordance with company policies and laws.
