Job summary

Ciena Healthcare is seeking an LPN Supervisor to oversee resident care across shifts, providing clinical supervision to CNAs/STNAs and ensuring continuity of care for residents. You will coordinate staffing, assign duties, and resolve staffing concerns while adhering to federal, state, and local regulations.

Minimum 1-2 years of nursing experience in long-term or sub-acute settings is preferred, with an active LPN license and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Current state license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
• CPR certification preferred or within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Supervises CNAs/STNAs and other staff providing direct care.
• Plans, assigns, and directs work to meet resident needs and staff capabilities.
• Prepares work assignments and adjusts for staffing levels and resident safety.
• Coordinates staffing and arranges replacements as needed.
• Uses independent judgment complying with policies and laws.
