Villa Healthcare is seeking a Nurse Supervisor LPN to lead on-duty nursing staff during non-business hours in a long-term care setting. The role involves being the highest on-site authority after hours, making timely decisions, and ensuring high-quality patient care.

Department collaboration and staff development are key parts of the job. The position requires an active LPN license, CPR certification, and preferred supervisory experience in long-term care.

Qualifications

• Current CPR Certification required.
• Possess a current license to practice in the state as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Long-Term care and MDS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and leadership to all on-duty nursing staff during non-business hours.
• Act as the highest-ranking on-site authority during after-hours and weekends.
• Collaborate with other departments when needed and upscale issues appropriately.
• Offer clinical expertise and support in resolving patient care challenges.
• Develops and maintains care standards.
• Make frequent rounds to monitor resident conditions and ensure quality nursing performance.
• Ensure documentation and reports are completed accurately.
• Perform administrative duties and provide direct patient care as needed.
