ARMStaffing is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 13-week night shift assignment on Medical Surgical/Observation units in Ohio. The role includes floating to multiple Med-Surg units, managing five patients under RN oversight, and documenting in Epic EMR.

Requirements include an active Ohio LPN license, current BLS, IV certification, and at least two years of hospital experience with telemetry proficiency. Night shift with every third weekend required.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with every third weekend required.

Job Description

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will primarily work on Medical Surgical/Observation units and may float occasionally between various Med-Surg units including Surgical, Respiratory, Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, and Cardiac. The LPN will be responsible for managing a patient load of five patients under RN oversight.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in accordance with established protocols and standards.
• Manage patient load effectively under RN supervision.
• Maintain proficiency in Epic EMR system for documentation and patient tracking.
• Read and interpret Telemetry; demonstrate competency on day one.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active LPN license in Ohio.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of two years of recent hospital experience required.
• IV certification is mandatory.
• Proficiency in reading Telemetry; competency assessment required.
• Current experience with Epic EMR system with no refresher courses available.
