Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living Mgmt Inc is seeking an LPN Medication Nurse to administer medications, document in MAR/TAR, and monitor residents for health changes. You will ensure Six Rights of Med Administration, maintain medication carts, and uphold regulatory standards in a senior living setting.

The role requires an active LPN license, CPR/First Aid certification, and strong assessment and documentation skills, with preferred experience in senior care or medication administration.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in good standing.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Strong assessment and documentation skills.
• Experience in senior care or medication administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief.
• Report refusals or adverse reactions promptly.
• Conduct SHUs (Service & Health Updates).
• Transcribe physician orders and support care plan updates.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ physical, emotional, or cognitive status.
• Maintain medication carts, complete narcotic counts, and uphold compliance standards.
