This role will work at St Louis Park and the St Paul 401 specialty center within Dermatology.

Qualifications for the LPN position include:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current LPN licensure in Minnesota.
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or Red Cross (online certification not accepted).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including proper use of English grammar and spelling.
- One year of experience as an LPN is preferred.
Qualifications for the Medical Assistant position include:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program OR an accredited EMT program with a current EMT license.
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or Red Cross (online certification not accepted).
- Verbal and written communication skills, including proper use of English grammar and spelling.
- Current Medical Assistant Certification or Registration through AAMA or AMT is preferred.
Responsibilities of the LPN include:
- Identify common nursing needs and perform routine procedures and testing.
- Assist patients in achieving healthcare goals and provide patient education.
- Document observations, actions, and outcomes.
- Provide safe, competent care and recognize urgent problems.
- Obtain health histories and vital signs, report variances.
- Teach techniques and document procedures accurately.
- Communicate effectively with the healthcare team and provide current information to patients and families.
- Perform telephone screenings under RN or MD direction.
- Maintain patient privacy, safety, and confidentiality.
- Participate in continuing education and maintain CPR certification.
- Serve as a role model and support staff, solving problems appropriately.
Responsibilities of the Medical Assistant include:
- Room patients, record vital signs, and prepare for procedures.
- Administer medications and perform clinical procedures following policies.
- Review charts, provide educational materials, and handle records confidentially.
- Assist with medical interventions and prepare exam rooms.
- Prepare charts, process forms, and manage communication within the clinic.
- Gather information, relay messages, and coordinate schedules.
- Assist with sterilization, infection control, and inventory management.
