Job summary

Minidoka Memorial Hospital in Idaho seeks an LPN to provide direct and indirect patient care in the acute care setting. You will communicate with physicians, the Nurse Manager and co-workers about patient status and treatment responses.

Under supervision of the RN Charge Nurse, you will implement care plans, monitor vital signs, assist with assessments and apply medication administration rights while maintaining patient safety and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Current state LPN license in Idaho.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• PALS within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in acute care.
• Follow the eight medication rights and monitor for errors.
• Assess patients, monitor vital signs, and respond to changes.
• Communicate with physicians, Nurse Manager and co-workers about patient status.
• Assist in teaching patients and families about care.
• Document per current standards and policies.
