Job summary

Minidoka Memorial Hospital in Rupert, Idaho is seeking a compassionate CNA to provide direct and indirect patient care in a swing bed unit. You will work under the supervision of an RN/LPN or physician and may cross-train to medical, surgical, or swing departments as needed, providing sitter support when demands arise.

You will assist with activities of daily living, personal care, and emotional support, while applying sterile techniques and infection prevention practices to ensure patient

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current Idaho CNA certification is required.
• Current BLS certificate is required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, in writing and verbally.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care under RN/LPN or physician direction.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Perform basic clinical skills as directed and admit/transfer patients as needed.
• Position, lift, turn, and transport patients and assist with meals and hygiene.
• Maintain patient safety, infection control, and documentation per policy.
