Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Madison, NJ is seeking a dedicated LPN Medication Nurse to provide licensed nursing support, administer medications per physician orders, monitor residents, and document accurately in MAR/TAR.

You will follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration, transcribe orders, and collaborate with care teams to update care plans. Active LPN license, CPR/First Aid, and prior senior care experience are preferred; pay range is posted.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in good standing.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Strong assessment and documentation skills.
• Experience in senior care or medication administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders

• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief
• Report refusals or adverse reactions promptly
• Conduct Service & Health Updates (SHUs)

• Observe and report physical, emotional, or cognitive changes
• Maintain medication carts, complete narcotic counts, and uphold compliance standards

What We’re Looking For

Pay Range: 31.90 - 42.60
