Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking an LPN Medication Nurse to deliver safe, accurate care for our residents in a senior living environment. You will administer medications, follow physician orders, document in MAR/TAR, and monitor residents closely to ensure symptom relief and safety.

The role emphasizes strict adherence to medication administration standards and ongoing observation of residents' physical and cognitive well-being, with opportunities for professional growth and comprehensive

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in good standing.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Strong assessment and documentation skills.
• Experience in senior care or medication administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief.
• Report refusals or adverse reactions promptly.
• Conduct Service & Health Updates (SHUs).
• Transcribe physician orders and support care plan updates.
• Observe and report physical, emotional, or cognitive changes.
• Maintain medication carts, complete narcotic counts, and uphold compliance standards.
