Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking an LPN/LVN for a General Telemetry/Medical Surgical assignment on a 13-week contract. The role requires a valid license, BLS, and a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.

The shift is 12-hour nights with a 12-hour per shift format, and the unit handles a mix of adult diagnoses including post-surgical care, diabetes, heart failure, hypertension, weakness and cancer. Applicants must pass an orientation open-book exam with a 90%+ score.

Description:Candidates must pass a written exam during orientation.The exam is open book and covers skills learned during orientation.Resources will be provided to assist in passing the exam.A minimum score of 90% is required to pass.Candidates must not be employed in any capacity with competing facilities.A driver's license is required for submission and will be used for eligibility.Candidates are prohibited from having artificial nails while providing patient care.Refusal to comply will lead to termination of the contract.The unit consists of a mix of adult patients with a small number of pediatric cases.Common patient diagnoses include post-surgical care, diabetes, heart failure, hypertension, weakness, and cancer.Scrubs must be navy in color.Charting is done using an electronic medical record system.Floats may be required to several other units as needed.The position requires availability for every other weekend.
