Job summary

Allina Health in Edina, MN seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse for our outpatient clinic to support providers in delivering timely, quality patient care. This 1.0 FTE role works a day shift from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no weekend requires, and may float for cross-coverage or training at the Lung & Sleep Minneapolis location.

The LPN provides hands-on patient care, patient data collection, helps with procedures, and collaborates with the care team to improve outcomes in a busy outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Vocational degree from a Board of Nursing approved LPN program.
• Two years clinic LPN experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care support as delegated by Provider or RN.
• Rooms patients and manages patient flow.
• Administers therapies including medications and scheduling follow-up visits.
• Prepares for physician exams and provides psycho-emotional support.
• Maintains accurate charts in the electronic medical record.
• Cleans, restocks exam rooms and ensures supplies.
• Performs any clinical functions within license as ordered.
• Receives or initiates patient calls.
