Allina Health in Edina, MN is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for clinic support in Pulmonology and Sleep. This 1.0 FTE, day shift (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM) offers a $2,000 starting bonus for eligible external talent and no weekend requirements. Opportunities may include cross-coverage at the Minneapolis Lung & Sleep location.

The LPN will provide patient care, collect information, assist physicians, and help manage patient flow in outpatient settings, following all clinical policies.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Vocational degree from a Board of Nursing approved LPN program.
• Two years clinic LPN experience (preferred).
• Licensed Practical Nurse MN BON or Wisconsin license (if Wisconsin patients) required.

Responsibilities

• Administers therapies including medications and follow-up scheduling.
• Rooms patients, measures vital signs and documents in the chart.
• Assists providers and coordinates care with the health team.
• Performs pre/post-encounter tasks and post-visit instructions.
• Maintains exam rooms, cleans and restocks supplies.
