Complete Care at Kimberly Hall North in Windsor, CT is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct care for residents recently discharged or needing long-term care. Full and part-time options available.

You will administer medications, wounds, monitoring, clinical procedures, care planning, collaboration with physicians and therapists, and educate families. Must be licensed in CT and pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed to practice in Connecticut (LPN).
• Pass background check, drug screen, references, and physical evaluation.
• Professional and clinically skilled with leadership qualities.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications: oral, topical, IV, injectable medications.
• Wound care and prevention; manage pain and dressings.

Here’s What You’ll Do for Our Residents:

Administer Medications: Give oral, topical, IV, injectable medications

Wound/Skin Care: Perform wound care/prevention, manage pain, apply dressings

Monitoring: Observe physical and mental health status- track changes & analyze data

Clinical Procedure: Provide catheter/ostomy care, gather specimens etc.

Care Planning: Assist in executing individualized care

Collaboration: Strategize care with physicians, therapists, social workers & others

Family & Resident Education: Explain health status, changes and expectations for care

Documentation: Keep a detailed record of health status, all care, progress & interactions

Team Oversight: Oversee & delegate CNA’s ensuring quality care/teamwork
