Accela Post Acute Care at Hamilton is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide compassionate resident care and collaborate with a skilled healthcare team. You will administer medications, monitor health, and educate residents and families while supporting a patient-focused environment.

Shifts include 7-3 and 11-7 with rotating weekends; Per Diem staff must cover at least one full weekend per month. The 55-bed post-acute care center is on RWJ University Hospital-Hamilton campus.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in the state of New Jersey.
• Experience in Acute care LTC or similar settings required.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and personalized care to residents.

Licensed Practical Nurse Responsibilities Include:

• Provide compassionate and personalized care to our residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being.

Licensed Practical Nurse Qualifications:

• Current LPN license in the state of New Jersey.
• Experience in Acute care LTC or similar settings required
• Current/active CPR certification is preferred
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills
• Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to communicate at all levels of organization and work well within a team environment in support of company objectives
• Customer service-oriented with the ability to work well under pressure

Weekend Requirement:

This position requires rotating weekends (on/off schedule). All Per Diem staff must commit to working at least one full weekend per month (both Saturday and Sunday).
