Job summary

Accela Post Acute Care at Hamilton in Hamilton Township, NJ, is hiring CNAs to provide daily routine care, assist with meals, and support residents on a 55-bed post-acute unit on the RWJ University Hospital-Hamilton campus.

Qualifications

• Current Nursing Assistant certification from the state of New Jersey.
• Experience in Acute care LTC or similar settings required.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Excellent English communication, both verbal and written.
• Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily routine care, including bathing, dressing, and serving meals.
• Feed residents as necessary.
• Provide safe transfers.
• Assist with maintaining a clean and healthy environment.
• Document clinical actions by completing forms, reports, and logs.

Weekend Requirement: This position requires rotating weekends (on/off schedule). All Per Diem staff must commit to working at least one full weekend per month (both Saturday and Sunday).
