Job summary

The Jones-Harrison Senior Living in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide skilled nursing care in compliance with facility policies.

The role includes administering medications, monitoring residents, assisting with transfers, and communicating changes to the RN team; evening shifts with 40 hours every two weeks and partial benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• MN LPN licensure required.
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR (3 week grace period for BLS) required.
• Able to work independently.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled nursing care such as; implementing practitioners' orders, ordering and assisting with medications and supplies, operates medical equipment, and charting practices
• Lifts and transfer residents as needed, Initiates emergency treatment as needed
• Monitors work and performance of unlicensed staff
• Updates RN with current observation and completes documentation of resident health status
• Communicates changes in residents conditions to relevant individuals
• May support RN by completing resident assessments, service agreements and care plans

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) performs a variety of professional nursing duties in compliance with the Skilled Nursing Facility regulations and follows established policies and procedures for our facility in Minneapolis, MN - Jones-Harrison

Nurse schedule includes:

• 40 hours every two weeks
• Evening shift
• Week 1 Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday. Week 2 Monday
• Partial Benefits
