Job summary

Ebenezer is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to support the Jones-Harrison Senior Living community in Minneapolis, MN. You will work with a team to ensure safety and health needs of residents in long-term care and transitional units, with a focus on care plans, med administration and documentation.

The role is part-time with an evening shift, 40 hours every two weeks, and requires MN RN license, BLS certification (or enrollment), CPR for professionals.

Qualifications

• Active MN RN license required.
• BLS certification required or enrolled to renew before hire.
• CPR for professionals certification (AHA/Red Cross) required.
• Experience with electronic charting systems preferred.

Ebenezer is hiring a Registered Nurse/RN role who would be responsible for ensuring that the safety and health needs of the adult long-term care center and transitional care unit patients are met. Supported by a team of nursing assistants, housekeeping, activities, culinary, social work and more. Come join the Jones-Harrison Skilled Nursing community in Minneapolis, MN, near beautiful Cedar Lake. Supported by Nurse Leader DON and CNAs and multi disciplinary departments.

Nursing schedule includes:

• 40 hours every two weeks
• Part time; Evening shift
• Includes every other weekend and holiday rotation

Responsibilities

• Monitors personal cares provided to assure consistency with each individual Care Plan
• Coordinates medications and performs treatments per physician orders and facility policies
• RN - Assesses care plans, resident goals and revises, modify as needed
• Provides reports and documentation related to incidents, change of status and cares provided

Required

enrolled in a BLS class to renew or obtain their certification. BLS certification must be

• Current MN RN license or by start date
• BLS is required upon hire and/or new hire must show proof that they are currently
• Obtained within three-weeks of hire date and before nurse can perform independent practice
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuers

Preferred

• Comfortable using Microsoft windows and electronic charting systems
• Work experience in a patient support role, LPN or RN
• Good written and verbal communication skills to interact with residents, families and physicians or providers
