Job summary

Saint Therese of Corcoran in Minnesota is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for full-time day shifts, 12:00pm–8:30pm, with every other weekend and holiday. You will provide direct resident care, administer medications, document care in electronic records, and collaborate with the nursing team to maintain safety and quality of life.

Pay ranges from $34.25 to $42.81 per hour, based on experience, with Same Day Pay available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program.
• Current LPN license in Minnesota in good standing.
• 1+ years of nursing experience.
• Working knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated clinical judgment and professionalism.
• Commitment to compassionate, resident-centered service.
• Ability to assist with resident transfers (50+ lbs).
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain on hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with individualized care plans and physician orders.
• Administer medications and treatments safely while monitoring residents for effectiveness and response.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation using electronic health record systems.
• Observe, assess, and report changes in resident condition to the Nurse Manager, providers, and family members, and assist with follow-up care as needed.
• Coordinate and provide guidance to Nursing Assistants / NARs to support quality resident care and team workflow.
• Ensure compliance with clinical policies, procedures, and state and federal regulatory standards.
• Promote a safe, respectful, and compassionate care environment for residents, families, and team members.
• Demonstrate professionalism, strong clinical judgment, and excellent customer service in daily practice.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program
• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing with the Minnesota Board of Nursing
• 1+ years of nursing experience
• Working knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Demonstrated clinical judgment, professionalism, and integrity
• Strong commitment to compassionate, resident-centered customer service
• Ability to meet physical demands of the role, including assisting with resident transfers (50+ lbs.)
• Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)

Preferred

• Experience in senior living, long-term care, assisted living, or memory care settings
