Prairie Vista Village in Altoona, IA is seeking a dedicated LPN Charge Nurse to join our senior living team. The LPN plans, organizes and assists in providing direct and indirect resident care following established nursing policies and standards.

The role includes orienting and supervising staff, daily rounds, and implementing care plans with the DON/RN. We offer a family-oriented environment with health benefits and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program and licensed as LPN.
• Currently licensed in Iowa without encumbrance.
• CEU requirements to maintain licensure.
• 1–2 years of Charge Nurse or LTC experience preferred.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and implement interventions for resident care per standards.
• Make daily rounds to assess condition and comfort.
• Develop, implement and evaluate care plans with DON/RN.
• Supervise nursing staff and ensure policy compliance.
