Maxim Healthcare in Pensacola, FL is hiring for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work with an adult patient in their own home, in Prattville, AL.

Shifts: Every Friday 8a-7p / Every other Sat/Sun 9a-7p. Competitive benefits include health/dental/vision, HSA, life insurance, PTO and a 401(k). Prior nursing experience and active LPN/LVN license required. TB/Chest X-Ray and BLS must be current.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interpretes data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
