Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide in-home pediatric care in Matthews, NC. Both part-time and full-time opportunities are available, with hourly pay of $31–$33.

Responsibilities include delivering skilled nursing, assessing patient condition, and documenting nursing diagnoses. Qualifications include active LPN/LVN licensure, current TB/Chest X-ray, and BLS certification. Comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state of practice.
• TB test or chest X-ray is current.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• One year of nursing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care per prescribed orders.
• Assess patient status and document nursing diagnoses.
• Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Deliver pediatric home healthcare services on each assignment.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

Qualifications:

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred
