Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. is hiring a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide in-home care for pediatric and/or adult patients across Houston area regions. The role offers flexible scheduling, consistent hours, and a supportive clinical team for private duty nursing.

You will deliver one-on-one care in patients' homes, with opportunities for weekend and night shift differentials to enhance earnings.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed LVN in the state where the LVN will practice.
• TB or Chest X-Ray clearance required.
• Current BLS card required.
• One year of professional nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Provide skilled nursing care/services per prescribed orders on each assignment.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiological and psychosocial changes in the patient.
• Collect, analyze, and document data and nursing diagnoses.
