Signature HealthCARE Georgetown is seeking a Health Information Management professional to maintain residents' medical records and ensure regulatory compliance. The role includes acting as the Compliance Liaison and coordinating record requests with facility leadership.

Ideal candidates will have an HIM degree, RHIT/RHIA preferred, 2+ years in healthcare, and proficiency with EMR systems such as MatrixCare. This is a full-time position in Georgetown, KY, within Signature HealthCARE facilities.

Qualificações

• Associates degree or higher in Health Information Management or related field is required.
• RHIT or RHIA credential preferred.
• Minimum of two years experience in a health care facility; long-term care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of legal, ethical, and professional practice standards in Health Information Management.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and regulatory requirements.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; EMR experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain residents' medical records per facility policies and regulatory standards.
• Serve as Compliance Liaison for the facility and assist with annual risk assessments and policies.
• Coordinate record requests and ensure documentation is complete and secure.
• Conduct routine audits and present findings to leadership; support QAPI reporting.
