Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required by the state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification required within 45 days unless exempt.
• Completion of an accredited LPN program.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and room patients for exams by recording vitals and updating health information.
• Perform laboratory procedures with aseptic technique and infection control.
• Assist physicians with exams and procedures.
• Administer medications and manage IV therapy under orders.
• Educate patients and coordinate referrals/appointments.
• Document patient information and communicate with the care team.
• Maintain exam rooms and equipment; stock supplies and organize areas.
• Provide age-appropriate patient care and routine care tasks.
