Aperion Care in Marion, IN is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise nursing assistants. The role requires administering medications, following care plans, documenting care, and maintaining patient confidentiality.

You'll collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure safety and high-quality care, support activities of daily living, and respond to changes in residents' needs.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with an active, unencumbered state license.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• Experience in Long Term Care preferred.
• Effective communication and time-management skills.
• Willing to participate in additional training as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise nursing assistants.
• Administer medications as ordered by physician.
• Maintain documentation and ensure safety protocols.
• Coordinate with physicians and inter-departmental staff.
• Assist residents with daily living activities.
• Communicate changes in resident needs to clinical leadership.
• Care for residents with dementia.
