Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in Delaware is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care to residents in assisted living. You will coordinate physical, social, and emotional care under physician orders, monitor residents, and respond to emergencies with calm professionalism.

Responsibilities include medication management, documentation, supervising CNAs/RMAs, participating in activities, ensuring nutrition, and maintaining safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in good standing with the state nursing board.
• Experience with seniors in assisted living or LTC preferred.
• Ability to supervise staff (CNA/RMA) and collaborate with healthcare team.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Demonstrated time management and organizational abilities.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with transfers as needed.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care and coordinate physical, social, and emotional care.
• Manage medication administration and review plan effectiveness with physician as needed.
• Document care and resident changes accurately; maintain Daily Log.
• Supervise CNAs/RMAs and motivate the nursing team.
• Respond promptly to emergencies with calm, professional action.
• Participate in activities and community events with residents.
• Assist with meals and monitor nutrition and dietary adherence.
• Maintain high standards for record keeping and interdepartmental communication.
