Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in Newark, Delaware is seeking aLicensed Practical Nurse to provide quality nursing care to residents in an assisted living setting. The LPN coordinates care, administers medications, and supports a safe, dignified living environment.

Responsibilities include ongoing resident assessment, documentation, teamwork with CNAs and RMA staff, and participation in trainings, with shifts that may include weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in good standing in the state of employment.
• Experience working with the senior population, preferably in assisted living or LTC.
• Must be a team player with experience supervising staff.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care to residents per physician orders and resident preferences.
• Coordinate physical, social, and emotional aspects of care.
• Execute the medication management plan with documentation and physician communication.
• Assess resident needs and update care plans as conditions change.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Assist with meals and monitor nutrition and diets.
• Respond to emergencies calmly and promptly.
