Job summary

Acadia Healthcare’s Appleton Comprehensive Treatment Center in Appleton, WI is seeking an LPN dispensing nurse for a part-time role (24 hours/week). The position offers early morning hours (5:00 AM–1:00 PM), a focus on medication dispensing, and a patient-centered recovery environment.

You will work under supervision to prepare and administer MAT medications, document care, and maintain stock while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing (LPN/LVN).
• Prefer 1 year of nursing experience in behavioral health or outpatient treatment.
• Experience treating patients in outpatient programs is preferred.
• Ability to operate medical equipment safely and effectively.
• Proficient in drawing blood and specimen collection.
• Proficient in EMR systems and clinical software.

Responsibilities

• Work under supervision of Nursing Supervisor, Medical Director, and Clinic Director.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered, accurately and timely.
• Document medication administration in patient records promptly.
• Ensure safekeeping and inventory of medication stock per regulations.
• Maintain accurate accounting of medication received and dispensed.
• Dedicate ~90% of time to medication administration; other duties as needed.
• Process urine/blood samples, read results, assist in intake and outcomes.
• Complete documentation per clinic standards.
• Transport medication or work on a Mobile Unit as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
