Job summary

Madison West Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC), part of Acadia Healthcare, in Madison, WI seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) for a PRN, per diem dispensing role in its outpatient MAT program. Work hours are mornings (4:30 AM–12:00 PM) with a focus on safe, accurate medication dispensing.

You’ll supervise medication administration under Clinical Directors, document care, manage inventory, and monitor patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing (LPN/LVN).
• 1 year of nursing experience in behavioral health, outpatient treatment, or addiction recovery preferred.
• Training or experience in outpatient MAT settings preferred.
• Ability to operate medical equipment safely and effectively.
• Skilled in drawing blood and collecting specimens for testing.
• Proficient with EMR systems and clinical software.
• Accurate documentation of histories, vitals, and care.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by supervisors promptly and accurately.
• Document medication administration and nursing care in patient records.
• Maintain safekeeping and inventory of all medication stock per DEA/FDA requirements.
• Keep precise accounting of meds received and dispensed to patients.
• Dedicate approximately 90% of time to medication administration; other duties as assigned.
• Conduct and process urine or blood samples and monitor patient outcomes.
• Complete documentation for procedures in clinic records.
• May transport medication to other locations or work on a CTC Mobile Unit.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
