Job summary

Acadia Healthcare's Sheboygan Comprehensive Treatment Center in SHEBOYGAN, WI is seeking an LPN/LVN dispensing nurse for PRN shifts. You will support MAT/OTP services, prepare and dispense medications, document care, and monitor patient outcomes in a respectful recovery environment.

You will work under supervision with the Nursing Supervisor, Medical Director, and Clinic Director, maintaining compliance with DEA, HIPAA, and clinic protocols.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing (LPN/LVN).
• Prefer 1 year of nursing experience in behavioral health, outpatient treatment, or addiction recovery.
• Experience in outpatient MAT/OTP settings preferred.
• Ability to operate and maintain medical equipment safely.
• Proficient in drawing blood and collecting specimens.
• Proficient in EMR systems and clinical software.

Responsibilities

• Work under supervision of Nursing Supervisor, Medical Director, and Clinic Director.
• Prepare and administer medication as ordered by supervisors accurately and timely.
• Document medication administration and nursing care in patient records.
• Maintain inventory of all medication stock and records per regulatory agencies.
• Maintain precise accounting of medication received from suppliers and dispensed to patients.
• Dedicate ~90% of work hours to medication administration; remaining time for other duties.
• Conduct and process urine and/or blood samples; read results and assist in monitoring patient outcomes.
• Complete all documentation associated with these procedures.
• Transport medication to other locations or work on a CTC Mobile Unit as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
