Job summary

Acadia Healthcare's Clearfield Comprehensive Treatment Center is seeking a Part-Time LPN/LVN Dispensing Nurse for an outpatient OTP. You will assess patients, dispense medications, monitor vitals, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the clinical team to ensure safe treatment.

The role emphasizes 90% medication administration, with morning shifts and potential travel to mobile units. Prior MAT/behavioral health experience is preferred. CPR cert required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing (LPN/LVN).
• Prefer 1 year of nursing experience in behavioral health, outpatient treatment, or addiction recovery.
• Training or experience in outpatient treatment is preferred.
• Ability to operate and maintain medical equipment safely and effectively.
• Skilled in drawing blood and collecting specimens for lab testing.
• Proficient in EMR systems and related clinical software.
• Competent in patient assessment, including evaluating histories and conditions.
• Accurate vital signs measurements and documentation.
• Administer medications as prescribed by a physician.
• Observe and document patient responses and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Work under supervision of Nursing Supervisor, Medical Director, and Clinic Director.
• Prepare and administer medication as ordered accurately and timely.
• Document medication administration and nursing care in patient records.
• Ensure safekeeping and accurate inventory of medication stock per DEA, FDA, and regs.
• Maintain accounting of all medication received and dispensed.
• Dedicate ~90% of time to medication administration; other duties as assigned.
• Conduct urine and/or blood tests, read results, assist in intake assessments.
• Complete all documentation per clinic standards.
• May transport medication to other locations or work on a CTC Mobile Unit.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
