Job summary

Comprehensive Treatment Centers Madison West seeks a PRN LPN Dispensing Nurse to join our outpatient MAT program in Madison, WI. You will dispense medications, maintain MARs, and ensure safe, timely administration in a recovery-focused clinic.

The role features mornings, early shifts, and per diem hours, with state licensure required and EMR proficiency preferred. Join a team dedicated to compassionate, high-quality care for opioid use disorder.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing (LPN/LVN).
• Prefer 1 year of nursing experience in behavioral health, outpatient treatment, or addiction recovery.
• Ability to operate, monitor, and maintain medical equipment safely and effectively.
• Skilled in drawing blood and collecting specimens for testing.
• Proficient in EMR systems and related clinical software.
• Competent in patient assessment, including evaluating medical histories and symptoms.
• Ability to monitor and record vital signs accurately.
• Ability to administer medications as prescribed by physician.
• Observe and document patient responses and treatment outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Work under supervision of the Nursing Supervisor, Medical Director, and Clinic Director while maintaining professional standards of care.
• Prepare and administer medication as ordered accurately and timely.
• Document medication administration and nursing care in patient records promptly and accurately.
• Ensure safekeeping and accurate inventory of all medication stock and records per regulatory agencies.
• Maintain precise accounting of all medication received from suppliers and dispensed to patients.
• Dedicate approximately 90% of work hours to medication administration activities; remaining time may be assigned to other duties.
• Conduct urine/blood tests, read results, complete intake assessments, and monitor patient outcomes.
• Complete documentation associated with procedures accurately and in compliance with clinic standards.
• May transport medication or work on a CTC Mobile Unit as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
