Job summary

Good Shepherd Lutheran Home in Sauk Rapids, MN seeks a Full-Time Day Shift Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide skilled nursing care in Assisted Living. You will administer medications, monitor medical and psychosocial needs, and coordinate care under RN supervision.

The role includes leadership support when the RN is unavailable, staff guidance, and ensuring safety and comfort for residents across multiple care settings.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Minnesota LPN licensure.
• At least 1 year of clinical experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing services and direct client care.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Observe, report, and document changes in client condition.
• Coordinate care with the RN and other health professionals.
• Assist with onboarding and support of staff when RN is not present.
• Coordinate physician visits and hospital transfers as needed.
