Job summary

Good Shepherd Assisted Living in Sauk Rapids, MN is seeking a Full-Time Day Shift Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide skilled nursing services, administer medications, and monitor the medical and psychosocial needs of residents. You will work under the direction of an RN, lead staff in absence of the RN, and coordinate care with families and providers.

The position requires MN LPN licensure, a valid driver’s license, and at least 1 year of clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current LPN license in Minnesota.
• At least 1 year of clinical experience preferred.
• Must have a current, valid driver’s license.
• Professional behavior and judgment in care decisions.
• Good interpersonal communication skills.
• Computer skills are necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing services and direct client care.
• Monitor medical, psychosocial, and physical needs.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Observe, document, and report changes to RN.
• Lead nursing staff when RN not present.
• Coordinate client care with RN and other providers.
• Assist with staffing and onboarding as needed.
• Communicate with families and healthcare partners.
