Job summary

Health Advocates Network, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for Franklin, Wisconsin, on a 12-hour night shift. Local pay is $43.00 per hour (W2), with travel pay available for eligible candidates and total compensation around the posted travel package.

Responsibilities include direct patient care under supervision, medication administration, vital signs, and EMR documentation. Candidates must hold WI licensure and meet minimum experience requirements for this correctional healthcare

Qualifications

• Current, valid, and unrestricted WI license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.
• Minimum of 1+ year within the last 3 years of recent experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse
• Copy of current PSV from the licensing board or verification agency, if required.
• Copy of all current required certifications/compliance documents (e.g., BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of a RN or physician.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and record patients' vital signs and report changes.
• Assist with patient assessments and implement individualized care plans.
• Perform wound care and other basic nursing procedures.
• Document patient care accurately in the EMR.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and treatment plans.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment.
• Follow facility policies, infection control protocols, and regulatory standards.

Local Pay: $ 43.00 /hour - W2

Travel Pay:

Travel Rate (based on 36 hours): Hourly $18.11, Stipend (Lodging $700.00 + M&I $329.00) = $$1,029.00

Total Comp :$1,680.96

Travel Eligibility: Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for Travel Pay.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician.

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

• Monitor and record patients' vital signs and report changes in condition.

• Assist with patient assessments and implement individualized care plans.

• Perform wound care, specimen collection, and other basic nursing procedures.

• Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).

• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and treatment plans.

• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.

• Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for patients.

• Follow facility policies, infection control protocols, and regulatory standards.

**Minimum Qualifications **

• Current, valid, and unrestrictedWI license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.
