Job summary

Health Advocates Network, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for a night shift position in Raleigh, NC.

The role involves delivering direct patient care under supervision, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and contributing to individualized care plans in a correctional healthcare setting. Applicants must have an active LPN license (Washington) and at least 1 year of recent LPN experience.

Qualifications

• Current, valid, and unrestricted Washington license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent LPN experience within the last 3 years.
• Copy of current Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
• Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, ...).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and record patients' vital signs and report changes in condition.
• Assist with patient assessments and implement individualized care plans.
• Perform wound care, specimen collection, and other basic nursing procedures.
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and treatment plans.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for patients.
• Follow facility policies, infection control protocols, and regulatory standards.

Local Pay: $ 39.00/hour- W2

Travel Rate (based on 36 hours): Hrly $18.03, Stipend (Lodging $693.00 + M&I $329.00) = $1,022.00

Total Comp :$1,671.08

Travel Eligibility: Candidates must live at least 50+ miles from the facility to qualify for Travel Pay.
