Job summary

Health Advocates Network, Inc. in Aiea, Hawaii is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our correctional healthcare team.

You will provide direct patient care under RN or physician supervision, administer medications, monitor vitals, and help create individualized care plans. We offer flexible shifts, competitive pay at $34 per hour on a W2 basis, and benefits starting after 60 days, including CEUs, insurance options, an employer-sponsored 401(k), and travel stipends for qualified

Qualifications

• Current Hawaii LPN license in good standing.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent LPN experience within the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and record patients' vital signs and report changes in condition.
• Assist with patient assessments and implement individualized care plans.
• Perform wound care, specimen collection, and other basic nursing procedures.
• Document patient care accurately in the EMR.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and treatment plans.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for patients.
• Follow facility policies, infection control protocols, and regulatory standards.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and record patients' vital signs and report changes in condition.

• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and treatment plans.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current, valid, and unrestrictedHawaii license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.
• Minimum of 1 yearof recent experience as aLPN within the last 3 years.
• Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
• Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test,...)
