Job summary

Kaiser Permanente seeks an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct and indirect care in an outpatient setting. Under supervision, you will implement care plans, administer treatments and vaccines, and document patient responses.

You will coordinate with RNs and practitioners, manage records and follow-up, and assist with education and discharge planning in a fast-paced clinic environment in Hawaii.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of conflict resolution and customer service.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Ability to document clearly and follow written instruction.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and prepares medical records for assigned patients and initiates follow-up.
• Administers treatments, immunizations, and medications as prescribed by practitioner.
• Documents interventions and patient responses; informs RN or practitioner of changes.
• Performs point of care testing and handles lab and x-ray reports as directed.
• Manages discharge plans and follows up on referrals as directed by practitioners.
• Trains and supports unlicensed staff and ensures infection control procedures.
